Another A-Level piece, which I was later then lucky enough to sell. Based once again on my work with the Human Figure, this painting features a reclining male. I wasn’t too anatomically correct with this painting, as the idea was not to shock. It also made it a bit more audience friendly, as it was displayed at a school exhibition.
Back when I was doing my A-Levels, one of my chosen topics was the Human Figure. I really enjoyed studying the works of Michelangelo and Da Vinci. This was my coursework final piece, something I was really proud of. In retrospect, I wish I’d spent more time of the arm and hand, but overall I’m still really happy with this piece.
